Lib Dems announce candidate for Morecambe and Lunesdale

by Morecambe Liberal Democrats on 29 October, 2019

Local man Owen Lambert has said he is proud to be chosen to run for MP in his hometown.

In Morecambe and Lunesdale, the Liberal Democrats will be represented by 21 year old Owen Lambert. Owen grew up in Morecambe, attending Great Wood Primary and Morecambe Community High School. He worked for you across three years at the local NHS in Heysham. Owen is demanding better for the people of Morecambe and Lunesdale.

‘The people of Morecambe have been ignored by Westminster for far too long. They deserve better representation by someone who has grown up here, seen and felt the issues that we face. I am proud to stand up for my town.

Morecambe is on the up and I want to see it return to its place in the sun. There are so many exciting new projects coming to our area and myself and the Liberal Democrats want to support them. This is our town, our community, and our future.

The Liberal Democrats are standing up for strong, properly funded health and social care and education services. We will tackle climate change and ensure that our area is greener, healthier and happier for everyone.

If you believe in Morecambe, then the time has come to vote local, vote Liberal Democrat, vote Lambert.’

The 2019 United Kingdom general election is scheduled for Thursday 12 December 2019.
